ICI: Material Advantage™
ICI develops innovative products for the transportation, construction and fire fighting industries utilizing novel, proprietary materials and processes.
Our company was established in 2007 by a group of entrepreneurs with a successful track record in commercializing advanced materials. The company was founded on the idea that by improving the materials we use to make common products, we could profoundly improve on their performance in ways that would redefine the industries we enter: the Material AdvantageTM.
Today, ICI has three distinct product lines:
STRUCTURE-LITE
By utilizing the Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic’s, our engineers developed a line of application-ready sandwich panels that overcome the traditional shortcomings of wood, metal, concrete and conventional plastic panels. STRUCTURE-LITE panels combine incredible strength with very light weight and are impervious to weathering, rot, splintering, corrosion and heat-transfer issues. Currently STRUCTURE-LITE panels are being utilized in transportation applications such as [links] composite containers, equine trailers and automotive aftermarket tonneau covers as well as in construction applications such as pedestrian bridges, marine docks, construction panels and ceiling tiles.
ECOSCAPE
EcoScape is an affordable, easy-to-assemble housing solution providing several unique advantages over conventionally constructed buildings. EcoScape houses are highly energy efficient, rot, mold and insect resistant, exceptionally durable as well as earthquake and hurricane resistant. EcoScape structures provide portable as well as permanent fast deployment solutions for Disaster Relief situations, Mining Camps, Troop/Command Shelters and other housing needs. The structures are highly versatile in size, appearance and function and which allows them to be used in commercial as well as residential applications.
HERO 451 Fire prevention products
ICI has developed a line of unique environmentally friendly fire inhibiting and suppressing products. Using an advanced solution of bio-degradable components, our product line is intended to create a new benchmark (replacing Halon and similar products) to safeguard homes, property, textiles, equipment and even Christmas trees against fire.
