How to use EvergreenHero™

EvergreenHero™ should be sprayed in the tree or decoration in an even layer that covers the entire surface. Not all pine needles or branches will be completely covered, but the exposed areas should be properly treated.

After the treatment the tree must be allowed to dry, as the protective layer needs time to absorb into the greenery. It can dry at room temperature, inside your home or heated garage. Allow the treatment to dry for 8-12 hours. Some parts may feel damp when touching the tree after 5-7 days. This is normal and should not prevent you from using the tree.

We recommend that you treat your greens outdoors (if dry weather), but EvergreenHero™ is also safe for indoor use as well. Please avoid contact with other wooden furniture, especially untreated, antique or otherwise light and fragile pieces. Please also avoid rubbing against the treated tree, as it may leave some stains on the clothes. These can easily be removed with water.

Once treated the tree should not be placed outdoors, as rain and snow will remove most of the prestinguisher. If this happens, a new treatment should be administered before bringing the tree indoors.

What happens when the tree has been treated?

EvergreenHero™ has its own characteristic light smell just as it is sprayed onto the tree. This will disappear as water evaporates.

EvergreenHero™ creates a kind of membrane that can feel a bit wet and greasy at first on tree branches and needles. It will become less pronounced as it dries. In some cases a slight grayish residue from salt can be detected - this can be dusted away gently.

How much will a bottle cover?

A 12oz (300 ml) bottle of EvergreenHero™ will cover an average tree of about 6-7 feet.
