We can provide a customizable solution for most any product to fit your needs. Here are a few examples of applications we have developed:

Bedding: Smoking in bed has always been a hazard, primarily due to the fact that mattresses and box springs are made with highly combustible materials. Manufacturing bedding infused with Hero451® will prevent ignition and spread of fire.

Lumber: Few things burn more readily than wood, and wood remains one of the top materials used in construction. While some wood is treated to prevent rotting and warping, there has been no product that can effectively prevent wood from burning. Until the advent of Hero451®.

Curtains/Drapes: Window coverings allow fire to easily spread up a wall and across a ceiling, enabling fire to quickly spread. Pre-treating fabric for curtains and drapes with Hero451® prevents ignition and spread of fire.

Carpets & Rugs: Many carpets and rugs are pre-treated for stain resistance, but remain highly susceptible to fire, especially when located in rooms with fireplaces. Pre-treating carpets and rugs with Hero451® prevents the ignition and spread of fire from stray sparks, electrical shorts and other heat sources.

Upholstery fabrics: Upholstery fabric is another prime fuel source for feeding fire. Pre-treatment of this fabric with Hero451® dramatically reduces the ignition and spread of fire.

Clothing: Hero451® is a safe, non-toxic way to prevent clothing from catching on fire. Pre-treating clothing with Hero451® adds another level of safety, particularly with children’s clothes.

Paper/Cardboard: Hero451® can be applied to paper and paper products to make them impervious to fire and prevent them from igniting.

Furniture: Most furniture will burn when it reaches a certain temperature. Pre-treating furniture with Hero451® prevents it from igniting and spreading fire.

Wall treatments: Wall coverings are a beautiful accent for any room, but allow fire to easily spread up a wall and reach across a ceiling. Treating these coverings with Hero451® prevents them from igniting and spreading fire.
